Tom Convy has been teaching and training others since he was 15. His ability to connect with people and help them grow is second nature, back up by a Sports Coaching degree and a long-standing passion for martial arts. What began as a love for coaching others has evolved into a full-time mission: to inspire others through the life-changing benefits of martial arts.

Starting out as a member of the G Force instructor team, Tom helped launch and grow what has become a highly regarded G Force location, receiving consistently amazing feedback from its members. When the opportunity came to take ownership of this school, he knew it was the perfect next step. He recognised the shared values, supportive community and powerful impact that G Force was already creating – and wanted to be a bigger part of the journey.

Now, as the owner and lead instructor at G Force Smethwick, Tom brings energy, knowledge and a down-to-earth approach to every session. His classes are welcoming, challenging and fun – designed to help each member grow, whatever their age or starting point. Not just for fitness or learning a new skill, but for confidence, discipline and personal development.

Tom delivers children’s classes that focus on building strong life skills – confidence, respect and resilience – while his adult, teen and ladies-only classes combine martial arts and fitness in a motivating, inclusive environment.
